Children's Center Director's Retreat

Children's Center Director's RetreatEach year, the Orfalea Family Foundation coordinates a three-day event for the directors of child development and early care education centers within our network of Orfalea Family Foundation California Centers. The purpose of the event is to provide education, inspiration, networking opportunities and tools to the leaders of children's centers that provide care to infants, toddlers and preschool children.

The retreat includes small work groups, speakers, presentations, visits to nearby children's centers, and the sharing of best practices. Additionally, networking with other professionals and organizations allows opportunities for connection and partnership. Our hope is that all who attend return to their centers and homes feeling rejuvenated and recharged with attitudes that result in professional and personal growth and further positive changes for young children in educational settings. The retreat is coordinated by Adrianna Foss, Orfalea Foundations Programs Director.
